Flint Hills Praisefest is a free, family-friendly Christian music festival where people feel welcome to worship God alongside their neighbors. This year for Praisefest's 13th anniversary, will announce the headliner soon! Praisefest operates with three main principles in mind, Community, Worship, and Generosity. Join us for a fun-filled day of worship, giving, and great food!

Join us Saturday, September 21st at Cico Park in Manhattan for a day full of worship, prayer and fellowship!

Grab a friend and a lawn chair and meet us Saturday afternoon to listen to amazing local and regional artists. Local and regional artists will be featured from 12:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on two stages, the KJIL Stage and Thriven Stage. Our headliner this year is Jordan Feliz! He will take the main stage at 7:30 p.m. Spots fill up fast, so be sure to arrive early on Saturday! A full lineup is coming soon.

NEW ADDITION IN 2024

Flint Hills Praisefest is excited to announce that we have added a youth specific event to our activities on Saturday! One of our pillars is community, and this addition helps us to engage all participants and provide fun for all ages and families at our event.

Ms. Karla Bauer

Karls will be bringing Children’s Musical Storytime and a Youth Concert to Praisefest 2024.

Karla Bauer is an award-winning singer-songwriter, author, teaching artist, and playwright known for her heartfelt and inspiring music. With a passion for uplifting others through her art, Karla continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her brilliant artistry and compelling storytelling.

As the founder of the SHINE On Music program, Karla travels to underserved and rural communities, using her talents to educate, encourage, and empower students. Her dedication to nurturing young minds makes her the perfect leader for our new youth event at Praisefest 2024.

Karla’s latest endeavors include the release of her fifth studio album, "My King is Coming," a poetic and passionate journey of faith. She has also been recognized for her award-winning children's bedtime lullaby book, which beautifully tells the story of Mary singing to baby Jesus.

With her extensive experience and deep commitment to teaching and inspiring youth, Karla Bauer brings a unique and powerful presence to our event. We are thrilled to have her lead our Children’s Musical Storytime and youth concert, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

KJIL stage - Story Time

Join us on Saturday at the C Stage, where she will read her book, teach the children a lullaby, and sing together.

Thrivent Stage - youth concert

Join us on Saturday at the B Stage, inviting youth to join her on stage for a final song. This song will be one the youth have rehearsed in advance with a music teacher.

Friday, selected area youth will have the opportunity to gather and learn a couple of Karla’s songs and then perform those on Saturday with Karla! Stay tuned for more details.
